Trade using test accounts without risking real money

Autotrader us equipped with the options of using test accounts to be used for training, testing order models etc without having to risk real money. You can create up to 99 different test accounts and set any money amount and broker costs to each one. Open the Order dialog using the Start-menu:

To change the view in the order dialog to make virtual accounts visible, check the box "Testkonton". A list of virtual accounts is shown instead of live accounts. Select the account and the current positions will be shown in the Account holdings field. Transactions in virtual accounts are logged in Start > Logged Local Transactions.

To create a new test account, click on the Testkonton button and this dialog shows up:

Click on New account to create. You can name the account as you like, for example a strategy name to make it easy to know what  the account is being used for. Double click on a field to edit the contents, such as broker cost, amount available and so on.

Limitations using virtual accounts

1. You cannot place an order "on market". It always translates into a virtual trade directly at the price posted. This applies to both 
    manually placed orders as well as from automatic models.

2. Nothing is sent to Nordnet regarding virtual orders.

3. You can create up to 99 virtual accounts.
