I cannot log in using the same login details as on www.nordnet.se


  • Check that Nordnet AutoTrader is allowed in the anti-virus software and firewall to use the internet. 
  • Are you receiving any error codes when you start the program? Contact Autostock in that case for support.

I need to move Nordnet AutoTrader to


  • Nordnet AutoTrader can be moved to another computer quite easily and save scripts, order models, settings and price data.
  • Install AutoTrader on the new computer
  • On the old computer, find the catalog "c:/programdata/nordnetautotrader" (if it is a Vista/Win 7 computer) and move to the new computer.
  • On the old computer, find the catalog "c:/documents and settings/all users/application data/nordnetautotrader" (if it is a XP computer) and move to the new computer.
  • Note that the catalogs above are usually hidden, so you might need to enter the path directly into the Explorer to find it:



I am logged in and can see my account holdings, but I receive no streaming quotes


  • Check that Nordnet AutoTrader are allowed in the anti-virus software and firewall to use the internet. . 
  • Check the computer's clock is correct. Otherwise, the program may think that the stock market is closed.
  • Have you selected master account with Nordnet? Try to log on www.nordnet.se and check the account to be the main account.
    Then restart Nordnet AutoTrader.
  • Sign in with Nordnet and check in Account > My agreements and subscriptions > Price data feed information so that you have real-time data on.
    Then restart Nordnet AutoTrader.
  • Customers outside Sweden may need to request activation with Nordnet for the program to work.

I get streaming quotes but cannot see the entire order depth information


  • Sign in with Nordnet and turn on the real-time prices including order depth in real time. The options available in Account > My agreements and subscriptions > Price data feed information
    Then restart Nordnet AutoTrader.


I get Codebase Error when trying to start Nordnet Autotrader


  • Normally it is enough to restart the program a few times that the problem will solve itself, but sometimes it may be necessary to reboot the entire computer. Alternatively, start the Task Manager and close all copies of the process AutostockTrader.exe.
  • Upgrade software to latest version to solve an earlier problem with database management. Please contact Autostock for support.


I cannot see all the instruments in the instrument lists


  • Nordnet AutoTrader has a "master filter" that determines the paper and lists that are visible. Tick ​​the desired selection in the Settings > Configure price data feed. Then restart the program.
