Execute calculations automatically according to a preset time interval

The calculation explorer can be set to execute one or several calculations automatically using a preset time interval. This is useful if you want an updated status within a workspace, or if the calculation itself is used to set values in global cells for analysis within an automatic order model. The calculation is run on its preset stock lists and the result is updated automatically in the workspace without having to reload it manually.

The picture shows an example where we opened the Calculation Explorer, selected a calculation (Predictive Average) and checked "Show this calculation in Calculation Explorer menu".

Next step is to run the calculation once so that it is placed in the Calculation menu. Enter the Calculation Explorer again and click "Autorun".

Set the desired interval in seconds and check the box Update workspace if you want it automatically updated, then click Add. The calculation is now placed in the list below and run automatically according to the settings.
